Best Overall Northumbria Water Innovation

Farad.ai’s team won Best Overall Innovation at Northumbria Water’s fifth Innovation Festival. The four-day event saw thousands of innovators attend either physically or digitally through hubs all over the world. There were guest speeches, tech demos, design sprints, hackathons and much more, all geared toward solving the ever-encroaching real world challenges posed by carbon emissions, water poverty and the digital divide.

The underlying theme of the festival was ‘The Brilliant Get-Together’, a reference to the coming together of many brilliant minds from across the globe – all in the midst of a global pandemic.

To Farad.ai, this was a theme that resonated strongly; Farad.ai’s cutting edge work culture has long been one of its key strengths, and its team were able to exemplify this by collaborating across three different countries to put together a winning solution during the festival’s hackathon.
